A little reimagining of my earlier painting, The Wide Somewhere, this piece revisits the warmth and atmosphere of the Australian outback on a smaller scale. Using a similar palette of vibrant pinks, burnt oranges and golden ochres, layered textures and loose, expressive marks capture the glow and energy of the landscape.
A little reminder of the places we love to wander and return to.
