Inspired by the long, isolated drive to Broken Hill, this painting captures the vastness, colour and quiet intensity of the outback landscape. Layered acrylic, bold textures and vibrant reds, pinks and earthy tones evoke the changing light, distant horizons and endless road stretching through the landscape. The winding road becomes a visual journey into the solitude and beauty of the Australian interior.
